Measuring shoulder width on a tee to find the right size

How to Choose the Right Jersey Size

A jersey that fits well looks better, moves better and lasts longer. Here is a quick way to get the size right the first time.

1. Measure, do not guess

Grab a soft tape measure and take two numbers: your chest (around the fullest part, under the arms) and your length (from the top of the shoulder to where you want the hem to sit). Compare both with the size guide on the product page. Every Printgu item has one.

2. Know the cut

  • Jersey tees sit close to the body for running and training.
  • Basketball tanks are cut longer and roomier through the arms.
  • Baseball and football jerseys are boxier, made to layer over a tee.
  • Hoodies run relaxed; take your usual size for a classic fit.

3. Size up when

You plan to wear pads or a base layer underneath, you like an oversized streetwear look, or you fall between two sizes on the chart.

4. Ordering for a team?

Collect each player’s measurements before you order, not just their usual size. Brands vary, and a quick measurement saves a lot of swaps later.
