Measuring shoulder width on a tee to find the right size

How to Choose Your T-Shirt and Hoodie Size

A familiar size letter is only a starting point. Compare measurements and check the chart for the product you want before ordering printed apparel.

1. Start with a garment you like

Lay a similar T-shirt or hoodie flat without stretching it. Measure its length, shoulder width and chest width using the diagram on the product page. A body measurement and a garment measurement are not interchangeable.

2. Read the units and measurement labels

Printgu’s T-shirt chart lists Length, Shoulder and Bust in inches and centimeters. The diagram marks half-bust across the front: the full Bust measurement is twice that flat width. Use one unit system consistently and compare equivalent measurements.

3. Use the chart for that product

Hoodies, sweatshirts and T-shirts can have different fits. Do not use the T-shirt chart to choose a hoodie unless its product page explicitly uses the same measurements. Check the actual size and color selectors to see which options are available.

4. Consider how you will wear it

Compare with a garment that has the fit you prefer, including room for layering where needed. If you are between measurements or cannot find the correct chart, contact Printgu before ordering.

Items are made in your selected options. Review your size, color and the Returns & Refunds Policy before checkout.
